July 1, 2006 - Saturday

Happy 3rd Birthday, Cameron! We went to Cameron's birthday party at a bounce-house place today to celebrate! Shooting baskets with Cameron:

But needed a little help from Daddy going up! ;)

That night, we tried to go see fireworks in The Colony... when we left our apt. it was sunny & she needed our shades! lol

But when we got to The Colony, it was storming & POURING rain. So, we stopped at McDonalds to wait out the storm...

Something inside the little tree-house toy scared her & she refused to go back over by it, saying she was "scared about the green spot!"... never did figure out what the 'green spot' was!

On the way out, Daddy helped save a little bird from the sidewalk...

We parked in the grass thinking the fireworks were still going to happen...

But some kids got hurt by the fireworks when the wind blew a bouncehouse over with kids inside... so the fireworks were postponed until the next night...

Back at home, playing with her bag O' Cars! :)

July 2, 2006 - Sunday

Did a little packing before our move later this month... packed away my "Ted" outfit. lol Back before Cassidy was born, I wore this outfit to work & my boss called me "Ted" for Ted Nugent's song "Cat Scratch Fever". It was always funny to hear that song & it actually played on the radio during my labor! Cassidy decided to try on the shirt! :)

That night, we went back to The Colony to see the fireworks... we parked in the same place to watch. Before the "show", Cassidy hanging out on her bike! :)

July 3, 2006 - Monday

After OT, we went to Cassidy's favorite place for lunch... IKEA!

That night, we went to Addison's annual HUGE fireworks display... KaBoom Town! :) It was SOOOOOO crowded!

But she still managed to find an empty spot in the fountains!

& Then it started RAINING! & Though most were mad about the rain, I thought it was the most amazing experience! They still shot off the fireworks & the rain stopped before they were done, but while it rained, it was just awesome! & For the first time, Cassidy LOVED the rain, and was happy the whole time! (The only bummer was that some of the firworks got wet, so there was no "finale"...)

July 4, 2006 - Tuesday

On the way to go watch *more* fireworks in Carrollton, we stopped at Quik Trip & there was a beautiful rainbow!

When we got there she was so excited to go on the bounce-house-slide... so we stood in the long line & when we got to the front, she took one step on the surface & wanted off because it was "too dirty... leave it be clean!" So, she wouldn't do it! lol

July 5, 2006 - Wednesday

A little bit of dress-up!

Daddy hurt his shoulder carrying our chairs two nights in a row, so ended up in the ER & with a sling on his arm. Cassidy wanted to be like Daddy, so she got her sling out too. Which is funny, as she did NOT want to wear it when she HAD a broken arm! lol

She was playing in her baby clothes... the 3rd one is today, the first two are from June, 04! *awwwe!* :)
